Temperament Types And Relationship Samples â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Questions: 1. Explain what kind of temperament did you have as an infant.? 2. How did it affect your relationship with your parents or caregivers? Answers: 1.My temperament type during childhood. Temperament refers to a persons nature, that is, the typical manner in which a person thinks behaves or reacts to different situations or events. It is an individuals level of emotional excitability or intensity and is mostly recognized during the first few days of a childs birth. Personally, I had a difficult temperament when I was young. I can conclude this after studying the three types of temperaments typical in children. My behaviors during my childhood life depicted a difficult temperament. First, I was always hard to get to sleep through the night. I can remember my mother singing lullabies so that I can fall asleep. But even after this, I could see her leave my bedroom and call her back loudly. Crying was my hobby. At night, I could wake up and call my mother loudly, if she didnt reply, I could give a loud cry. She then could come and support me to sleep again, by slowly rubbing my back and kissing me on the forehead. Every morning I could call my mother to take me to the toilets. In the toilets. However, she found it very difficult to toilet train me. I used to mess up most of the times. Sometimes my mother could get frustrated and pinch me on the cheeks. However, after studying the types of temperament traits, I have come to realize that this could have been caused by my irregular bowel movements. To summarise, my feisty temperament during childhood made me always impatient, noisy, unable to adapt quickly. I used to disturb my older brother, who was at that time in his university studies by sometimes tearing his books, distracting him in his study room and calling him up so that we can play together. 2. Temperament affected my relationship with my parents. I think my mother did not understand my temperament. I can conclude this from the way she used to react to my behaviors. Sometimes she used to feel stressed and even avoid interacting with me. I used to ask her questions only to see her with a frown face. However, as a child, I could not understand why she looked upset. My mother often became frustrated whenever I called her to my bedroom. She used to shout at me at times and even pinch me on the cheeks. However, this could not make me quiet as I could cry even louder. Seeing that I was not keeping calm, she could relax and sing me lullabies. From her behaviors, I can conclude that my mum saw me as a difficult child to manage. This caused our relationship to be tasteless. Most of the times she looked unhappy with me. Being a child, I was too naive to understand why my mother seemed upset and unhappy. I have only come to know this after studying the types of temperaments typical in children. I found some time to discuss this with her, and she felt regretful about it. It is therefore essential for parents and guardians to understand the temperaments of their children so that they can treat them appropriately without getting frustrated.

Some historiographers attribute this less than baronial behaviour of the # 8220 ; noblest one of allâ⬠to the fact that Zeus was most likely a compilation of many ââ¬Å"supreme godsâ⬠from different areas. When his worship spread to an area which already worshipped another god, some of that god s qualities as well as his wife or lover were transferred to Zeus. Aside from the endless affairs Zeus was different from other gods in that he did not participate in the arguments and the resulting petty scheming that made up the daily activities of other gods. Art History Comparison of Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali and Research Paper
Art History Comparison of Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali and Better Homes, Better Gardens by Kerry James Marshall - Research Paper Example For many artists, the inspiration for their works stems from the things that they know or have experience with.à Salvador Dali included the cliffs of his beloved Catalan Coast in many of his paintings, including his most notorious ââ¬Å"Persistence of Memoryâ⬠, not only because they were a landscape feature he was intimately familiar with, but also because they helped to represent the duality of meaning he wished to convey in his artwork.à In a similar way, the African-American artist Kerry James Marshall has worked to include his own experience and background into his paintings in such a way that they work to provide a meaningful background to his subjects, adding subtleties of meaning to the overall work that helps to portray his idea of what the painting is attempting to say.à In both works of art, the background plays a large role in establishing the meaning of the work. Although the Catalan cliffs might not have the same impact on an uninformed viewer than they wou ld have on someone who is intimately familiar with the changing faces of these cliffs as the sunlight plays across their face, they nevertheless add a nuance of meaning to ââ¬Å"Persistence of Memoryâ⬠that might otherwise be lost, especially for individuals who have seen them first-hand or know anything about the background of the artist. For Dali, the cliffs of the background represented the physical equivalent of his ââ¬Å"principle of paranoiac metamorphosis.â⬠Dali is quoted as saying ââ¬Å"All the images capable of being suggested by the complexity of their innumerable irregularities appear successively and by turn as you change your position. This was so objectifiable that the fishermen of the region had since time immemorial baptized each of these imposing conglomerations ââ¬â the camel, the eagle, the anvil, the monk, the dead woman, the lionââ¬â¢s head. [â⬠¦] I discovered in this perpetual disguise the profound meaning of that modesty of nature whic h Heraclitus referred to in his enigmatic phrase ââ¬ËNature likes to conceal herself.ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬ (Descharnes & Neret 1994 p. 171).
